Ok, omg, this is going to be a super long blog.. and I'm just toooo lazy to seperate them or to make them more interesting.. so just gona go with the flow..

Back date a litte.. hey hey!! what do you think of this hat for the beach? (BITCH) lol.. vatever..
Bored with lunch nearby, decided to head to Raffles City for lunch.. after a sumptous lunch at MOF.. forgot to take pic of the pasta and salad we had... Decided to go for a nice dessert + kopi!!

I like it here that they serve ice water with carrot and is that Parsley or Celery leaves inside? Guess it's to get rid of the Chlorine taste.. but wonder my bottle was after how many rounds of recycling.. neeway..

Yummy Yum!! My Royale Chocolate with a cup of aromatic Cuppa... Lunch kaki learnt something new from me! that's NOT to add sugar to a cup of nice cofy, especially when you are having it with dessert..

My habit to half the last bite.. so no fight!! :D

Had the opportunity to join my friend for "pub" hopping to be like 神秘 guests to judge APB's standard for their beer... which means... FREE BEER!!!! (although i dun like Tiger nor Calsberg.. but it's free.. no complains)

Weekend was here AGAIN!!! lurve lurve the weekend.. especially these 2 weeks!

By the way, back to my addiction to cycling a bit.. I tried my 1st cycling on the road early in the morning on a Thu.. not that bad...

so.. Sat i was ready for the exploration!!

Headed to Punggol, Marina Country Club, and to duno where.. almost wanted to stop at Jln Kayu for prata.. but I know my limits.. better dun end up can't go back.. so stopped at Kovan (Yes, I think it's Kovan) for breakfast..

Initially thot the hawker there got nice food.. but after walking one round.. end up we still prefer our toast!! so Toastbox here we come!!!

Safely back home.. and can't seem to get my ass doing nothing.. Quickly grab a nap to prepare for the looooong night..

Went for catch Narnia.. LOL.. private joke with Mr R.. coz his friend pronounced it wrongly as "Naaaoooheeeaaaa"... so imagine both of us almost burst out laughing LITERALLY when they shouted "For Narnia" and charged to fight!!

Morning when cycling, passed by a kopitiam at duno where (Hougang??).. and having tried their western food like twice? Thrice? got craving for it.. so headed there for dinner..

Standard dropped drastically!! I don't remember the Fish & Chips so untasteful!

And I think they changed their signboard? or the way they cooked? Mr R also commented that standard dropped.. even their baked potats taste yucky with just a slab of butter only.. didn't bother to take picture..

And here I am! Ready for the loooong night at Zouk Out!!! woohoo.. My 1st time... !!!

Started the night well.. with experienced friend and we filled ourselves up well with alcohol before heading into the party..

Alright.. Small update on myself.. am gona bid farewell to my colleagues.. and 1st round of lunch was at a Dim Sum place.. yummy yum!!

My fav!! 流沙包 If you ever go to a Dim Sum place (a decent one). PLEASE order this!! It's AWESOME!!!!!!

Fogot to mention French movies watched.. keke...

and just got my ankle serviced AGAIN... hopefully it'll survive longer this time..

Weekend? Planned.. sun tanning + movie + Japanese buffet + champange buffet + cycling... and I have the whole week FREEEEE before I'm leaving on a Jet plane...

Addiction to cycling..

Sat early morning..
Vibrate: “Sky dark, still cycle?”
Reply: “YES. The wind is chasing the clouds to the North”

I need my “fix” for my cycling crave..

30mins after cycling towards the brighter side, it starts to pour and had to take shelter.
15mins later, booo… rain got heavier..
Whipped out my iPhone and I’m glad to have the Hangman app!! Haha.. got us laughing for a good 20mins.
Continued to cycle on in the drizzle instead and was SHIOK!!

Thinking of what to have for lunch.. Bak Kut Teh sounds nice in such weather!!

My 1st Xmas party for the year came waaaay early!!
Before heading off to the party, I HAD to.. after much consideration and seeking advises.. I went ahead to get this as my Xmas prezzie for myself.
Now I can’t wait to wear them!!

Marche

Dinner at Marche (been soooo long since I’ve went Marche) was yummy!! Despite my heavy breakfast and lunch (which included the bak kut teh, 5 slices of bread, 2 eggs and a pkt of prawn crackers), I still walloped up the food and ate more than the other 2 ladies who didn’t even have lunch..!! baaahhhh

Lovely lovely dinner at new found place (well, maybe I'm the suaku.. now then know)
It's at Dempsey and hey hey!! Another place to bring my dear and angel to when they are back..

Started not so glam when stubborn me refuse to bring brolly and was STUCKed at the bus stop waiting for rescue!! haha..

It was kinda dark so not able to take picture of the food... and with flash.. not nice..

Spinach Pizza It was really really very good!! (If you are someone who doesn't like vege, you'll still love this pizza..) crispy crust and the cheese is wooooo

Ok for wine,.. selection not done by me.. it was so so for me.. kinda too "sour" for my liking

Yesterday wasn't a very good day for me and finally decided to perk myself up and I thought of him..

Decided on his Munchies Waffles, not knowing how Dangerous it was!!

I almost asked for a soup to scoop up the melted good stuff.

Don't underestimate the nuts.. the candied crunchy hazelnuts... They got us going emmm emmmmm ........

Happy me woke up to a perfect cooling weather and looking forward to the rest of the week ahead...

Wonderful Weekend again!!

Hehe.. think I'm addicted to updating my weekend activities...

Last week was pretty lazy... only went for MT twice and consecutively Thu and Fri.. guess my belly still plays a part.. of it churning and all... not in the top form...

Sat early morning met Missy JJ for a session of Body Combat and some games at True Yoga.. co-organised by Mr R's company.. free food, free workout, free goodies!! keke..
Looking forward to evening when my friends came over for PotLuck!!

What a night when all of us were almost ROFL... and we discovered several VERY talented chefs..

Menu included:
- Potato Salad
- Thai Tofu Salad (with own special sauce that SHE refuse to share.. and we teased that she'll need that to get married off)
- Pizza (ordered)
- Fried Bee Hoon (from my mama)
- Roasted Chicken (from Cold Storage)
- Prawns and Chives Pancake (korean inspired but came toooo late)

Desserts include:
- Sugarless Fresh pandan Agar-Agar
- Tiramisu.. It was HEAVEN!!! to die for..... All of us were almost FIGHTING for it.. literally...
- Freshly home baked Banana Walnut bread/cake by Mr R... gosh.. I kept both 1st and last slice (the ends) for myself!!

The less less sugar and healthy oil banana walnut cake (sorry for the cheena plate that I used).. still warm when mama was cutting it..

The night ended with all of us having chocolate Bar tummy from all the laughter that we had... We combed all the food (although I ordered too many pizzas)

Hehe.. Mr R passed me down his helmet since he's getting one to match his bike (bicycle).. yet to try cycling on the road.. but can't wait!!

Sunday started early at 6am... went for a doggy charity run (Yeah, I ran without a dog... haha.. ) They have a Human 5km run and a Human + dog 2km run..

After that was cycling!! Missy A came to meet us after our Mac breakfast.. yummy yummm... I think I've got a good condition bike that day that I managed to ride freely and fast! probably due to the warm up from the run and both of us managed to cycle hands free.. hahahah...

Missy A can't resist the braised duck rice and me, still full from the breakfast.. had their braised egg + 2 cups of sugarcane water.. haha...

Went to meet up with one of the online bike seller staying at Marine Terrace.. poor her.. broke her ligament at her knee and can't cycle anymore...

Quick shower at home and headed to town.. wanted to get new watch straps from Bugis.. but alas... I forgot to bring my watch out and well.. headed to brash basah...

Itchy mouth and aching legs me was craving for toast!! ^^

check check.. YEAH!! 10 mins! Great.. Let's go!!

Fantastic movie that got us sitting at the edge of our seats...

Ended my weekend at a nice BBQ.. yummy food and it's always great to catch up..

This weekend? Sunday is already lined up.. (Nope.. I'm not taking part in SC run) although I might consider to 陪跑 for the stretch along ECP.. But am gona try out something that'll pump up my adrenaline!! Height and speed... keke

Birthday party and discoveries

Last weekend, especially Sat, I was like a Beeeee

Sat was a full scheduled day.. started with early morning cycling at East Coast..
As both of us were in "tight" schedule, but yet craving for cycling is there, we did a non stop chop chop 2 hrs cycling and rushed back home..

Kids kids were everywhere!! haha..

Rushed to catch up with a old friend and headed to my fav place - Ikea!! Don't ask me why... I just love it there...

Then rushed for dinner appointment - suppose to satisfy my ramen craving.. End up I was fickle minded again and decided to recce Liang Court's basement...

Discovered this Okinawan Restaurant with very Rustic style decor..
We ordered 2 dinner set... die die also must try their noodle and rice..
Saba was sweeet... and rice is to my liking.. fluffy and jit liap jit liap kind..

When we tasted it.. both of us looked at each other and gave THE puzzled look.. Can't "decipher" the taste...

Realised that it's actually Peanut Tofu!! Niceeeeee

Pork Rib was so so.. egg 5/10 as compared to my Maratuma's.. noodle is like mee pok without the yellow Geeee taste but not like ban mian also..

Felt that night is still young, decided to head to Robertson to satisfy my vampire needsss..

I was busy 望梅止渴-ing.. smelling other people's cheese and drinking.. coz I was too full for cheese...

Sunday woke up OTOT... went to collect my race pack for this Sunday.. and spent the rest of the day nuahing at Sentosa...

Idiotic me, left out belly when applying sun block and ended up with a led and itchy semi-burnt belly.. gross...

lucky my tan will always "blend" kind.. hahaha

Met up with a friend and was introduced to this place at Little India.. Prince of Wales.. Apparently, it's a backpackers place with a laidback and cosy pub..

Night zoomed by with beer and got to head home before I turned into a pumpkin..

Brunch for dinner!!

I always looooove a good breakfast and someone told me about Wild Honey and since then, I’ve been craving for it BADLY..
Finally get to go with Missy Dawna and ooo.. we were both excited about the Menu!!
and boy.. we were sooo full after…

After much research done prior to going, we settled for English Breakfast set and Tunisian set.

My own verdict? I love the English Breakfast set.. the potatoes and Mushrooms were to die for.. not to mention about the thick toast..
I’m not so much of a scrambled egg person.. but the bacon is nice…

Tunisian Set is great too!! Not knowing WTH is Tunisian, I asked Mr Google and realized it’s the northern most country in Africa..
Exotic taste with tomato and a little spicy herbs… it was gorgeous too!!

Mama's Birthday lunchy

Mama’s birthday and initially I’ve made reservation at a Dim Sum restaurant at Chinatown.. BUT..
The night before, my bro’s ankle swell due to Gout! And since my belly is still not well, we decided to skip the sim dum and have home cooked food instead.
So many yummy dishes and I only had the mushroom (heaven!!) with rice..

After lunch, it was time to head to THE “torture chamber”.. and I had needles poked which is suppose to help ease my belly problem..

Suaku me was then brought to the new Cineleisure and wah!! So much has changed!!
Managed to find the customize leather stuffs shop and well.. shall be back again..

Can’t wait for Harry Potter!!! Quickly grabbed dinner along the way.. ended at Cuppage and decided to try the Ramen..
Looks pretty authentic with a Japanese guy in the kitchen.. and seeing 2 Japanese customers..

My Verdict? For the price given, Maratuma beats it hands down anytime… Texture of noodles was good.. but maybe I selected the wrong soup base (Miso) and it was too salty for my liking.. and importantly, they used local (or maybe Malaysian) spring onion.. salah leh…
Well, this also sets the next date with Maratuma. ^^

At this point, I just thot so many things happening in a day!! Haha.. ^^
Ended with celebrating mama’s birthday with cake at home..

Ok, I who is metal teeth, refuse to see doctor.. and after 2 weeks, I've got more than 3 friends telling me not to joke with this...

They kept throwing possibility of Cancer to me!! bah.. I 101% dun think so lor...

But well, checked with Mr Google and here are the symptoms

I think my quota with apple in my life has reached the limit le..
Apparently, I'm having Gastric!! WTH.. Never will I ever thot I'll be suffering from that coz I never knew what hunger was.. always eating non stop.. but apparently, it's not that case.

No, the above is not a diagnose from some doctor but again, my own theory and shared experiences from friends.
Thought my tummy was better and I took a green apple on Sun afternoon and boooooo... whole night was a torture till today...

Survived on 100Plus yesterday else I'll be sooo dehydrated..

Managed to head for lunch with Mr V tho...
He has changed soooo much since I 1st know him..
Surprised when he appeared in a white Lancer with Sunroof!! Sporty and Cool.... !!
Although got P plate.. haha.. but ok lah.. he's steady..

Despite my bad belly.. we still decided to go for Sichuan dishes.. and asked for non spicy.. damn duh right.. but it was very yummy!!

I had one slice of this fish fillet.. scooped away the mayo and it's crispy and tasty..

Next is the Beef... tender and with the sichuan vege... slurp!! and Nope.. not spicy at all..

Well, didn't want to take the risk of getting the wrong size for me... he who has expensive taste but got the nose for good bargainssssss brought me to THE shop and opps... here I am, home with 2 good deals!!

Replay shoe retail price at $130 and I got it at $39

Kowalski shoes (made in Spain!!) retail at $219 and I got it at $39 too!!

Never heard of Kowalski me, did a quick search and wow!! they have many nice nice shoes...

Can't wait for weekend me so that I can wear them all!! ^^

Hiking and Misc

Alright.. Let me get my weekends sorted out and to add on some other misc stuffs...

My 1st (should be lah) trip to Bukit Timah Nature Reseruve.. Haha.. now I realised that we can be tourist in our own country too..
Started off at 730am and we took the Kampung Trail.. which was not so common and not crowded.. sort of ok ok route.. not that tough.. tho there are some steep steps.. but I would grade it 3/10 scale..
There's this part whereby we'll have to sit or almost bump our way down with our butt.. which made it more interesting..
This the only steps... weli steep.. each is about knee's height..

Reach the SUMMIT!! haha.. 163m only nah.. keke

Sunday was cycling day again and with the new app in Ipply, I was tracking the distance and pace and hey hey. .didn't realise that we've been cycling a good avg of 25km all these while.. Realised that our momentum got better and we complete at a faster pace.. Aiming for longer distance the next time..

Am feeling slightly better..
just wanna whine and grumble as was sick and tired of feeling sick for a week..

Last night was texting with Gal Friend A, midst of breaking up with her bf of 12yrs.
Yah.. 12 bradi years..
Well, it’s better on her side since she’s the one initiating..
But after 12 years of being together, the sudden change of daily habits,
The sudden loss of falling asleep knowing someone is thinking of you
The sudden loss of waking up knowing someone is thinking of you
Etc
Etc
She said she felt down but can’t describe the feeling..

I threw her these:
Lonely?
Lost?
Scared?

All of the above..

Well, it’s gona be a passing phrase for her.. and I shared with her my 24/7 occupied but still feel lonely period..
She’ll eventually get over and she’ll have me around!!

Remember I commented about the feeling of “completeness”??
I duno about you.. but for me, at times, I do long for such feeling..

It’s not just about having a partner in life although 90% is based on that..
Having a partner or being in a relationship can sometimes bring more pain than happiness..
What I need is a Soulmate who shares the same interest, sees things in the same angle, enjoys life the same way and of course with physical attraction and passion..
Chim? Nah.. some of you, especially my dearie will understand what I mean..

Well, the problem with me is once I have that sense of completeness, I’ll fall into a “Trap” of dumping everything else..
Well, not exactly dumping but it seems like I can forgo many other things in life already..
Such a bimbo me right?!

Put it simple..
I’ll basically place that completeness as my priority..
I am someone who likes to utilize my time to the MAX, trying to squeeze many things in one day.. especially during the weekends.
Friends know that my days are always pre-pre-booked..
I don’t live the hours as it goes.. I make plans and look forward and go for it..
But once I found the feeling of completeness, the dependency became so strong that I’ll tend to hold back plans made alone..

I think that’s the problem with me..
Or does this happen to everyone too?

I’m trying not to make that happen and end up “hurting” myself with my own stupidity and brainless expectations
So this entry is more so to remind myself..

Nono, I'm not having people giving up seats for me.. NOPE..
Just felt that my belly is like 24/7 bloated... !!! Heeeeeeelp!!!

It's been like what.. A week?? Been having tummy bloated, LS (not non-controllable kind). I've also been taking like 4 charcoal pills everyday..

This is bad when I can't be enjoying my food to the max..

Colleague S told me she's like "The-bloating-gastric-Queen" told me that I have to stay off from the following:

Fruits and Salad (raw stuffs that's not easy to digest and breakdown)

Which means, I must not eat my apple & Oleng.

I also start thinking, maybe I should stop my oats for breakfast for now too..

I'm starting to have my Ally McBeal symptoms again imagining the food, not digested and rotting in my belly.. and then having the rotten air penetrating through my veins, blood cells...

Had the chance to go back to my fav place again and this time, haha, managed to share a bottle of their red wine and I had to take a photo of it to know what I'm drinking!!

Didn't manage to take the food as it was a little too dark le.. and well, it's always the same food that I order.. My dearie's fav Tomato Bruschettas and one of my fav grilled sausages..

I wasted 2 almost 1/4 glasses of wine!!! bahhhhh

Sunday was a day of usual cycling and duck rice craving satisfaction.. wanted to go non meat for a day.. but Mr ducky was toooo irresistable.. =p

After accompanying me to fix my ankle, we headed to town to run errands... Journey to town, taking bus that I've never take before was like a outing to me.. lol...

Dinner was nice with sandwiches and ended with dessert!! slurp..
Everything's about food now isn't it?! aiyoyo...

Haha.. nice to be greeted in the morning with beautiful sunrise...

Nong nong weekend getaway

Nong weekend and I was at our neighbouring country..
not so bad with 3hrs from Bugis to final clearance at the custom.
It's gona be a FOOD entry I think.. kekeke

Heard so much about the famous Curry Fish Head and that was our 1st destination!
Yipee!! Managed to find it and after a 15mins Q.. (Yes, been Q-ing the WHOLE morning for everything.. haha) It was our turn!!
Ok,.. no fanciful dishes.. everyone eats the same and one and only dish they have.. it only varies by size..

See their small "kitchen corner" where they gathered all the ingredients into the claypot..

Tah Dah!!! Woohooo!! Pipping hot and the sauce is FANTASTIC de I tell you..

Fish is weli fresh and I had to "chop" for the one and only eyeball.. (gross u think? keke.. I like!!!)

After settling in, our next stop was a HUGE shopping mall..

1st to check out the movie timing.. tickets bought, time to SHOP!!

Feet got tired and my partially sprained + old injury ankle was making some noise.. so.. rest plus my craving for Peanut Butter TOAST.. =p

Actually it's my 1st try on Toast Box and verdict? well, Best to have the thickness of Xin Wang, the texture of Kim Gary's and the peanut Butter from ToastBox(with crunchy nuts) hahaha..

Was given the honour to finish off the last, over flowing piece.. but to half everything makes it tastier.. slurp!!!

Movie ended ard 8+ and were hungry!!!

Dinner was fantastic and cheap and good!!!

The white white portion is the deep fried 尿尿虾 (Mantis prawn) i think.. Dunch know what was that.. but I liked the noodles (Some friends know I like wanton mee without the wanton)

I would say, I didn't enjoy the deep fried thingy.. too much mayo and it's like I'm eating deep fried crispy flour with mayo only.. Dessert time!! Yummm

Back to back movies and had slightly more than an hour for dinner..

What a bad experience and I almost had to lie down and sleep (haha. you know how in Korean dramas when the Omma are upset, they always lie down?)

I had wanted to try Nandos.. so placed our orders and after 20mins, nothing happened.. enquired about our orders, it was MISSING!! The fellow didn't place our orders in and we waited for nothing!!

Pissed and they are all like Blur F that I decided to got for Kenny Rogers instead..

Hungry, pissed and upset!! I was in NEED of food to ease off the anger..

But luckily we had "omma" story to keep us sane before we got food into our system..

Alrighty..
Back dated event..

Was in Jakarta over a weekend for company’s SEA meeting and we had this Team Building session in a theme park..
Cut it short.. I didn’t enjoy myself during this trip at all.. Yes, it’s for work, not for holiday..
The rides are not fun nor thrilling and the weather was killing me.

One thing, up to whether you believe it or not.
RAIN DOCTOR..
Heard of it before? No?
Apparently, there are 5 famous rain doctor in Jakarta and you can engage them to disperse the clouds away from wherever you are having the event for that number of hours needed.

Don’t believe neh.. Me too..
BUT..

11am at our hotel, still in meeting, it was raining DONKEYS and Elephants out there with thunder..
I was still thinking, siao liao..need wear raincoat, hot and look tupid in the theme park..
When we depart at noon, rain stopped and when we reach the theme park, it was bright and sunny and HOT…

Everything ended at 5pm, after group photo, it was getting cloudy and just as our buses were leaving, it started to drizzle..
And yes, they did call the Rain Doctor..

One of the night, we booked a club and had games/dinner/drinks/dance.. that was a fun night tho..

This was outside the club in the mall and one can pay to slide down from the 6/7th floor!! cool right..!!
Nope, I didn't go for it although I wish to as I was in working dress... bahhhh

Someone told me over the weekend:
You are able to befriend your ex only if you didn’t love him/her that much.
The more you loved that person, the more impossible it’ll be for you to become friends after
Do you agree?

I beg to differ.
Circumstances and reasons for the break up make a whole lot of difference.
Maturity and personality plays a part too

Doesn’t mean that I love you lesser when we were together that makes me being able to be a friend with you.
It simply indicates that you still mean a lot to me and I treasure what we had before and I do not wish you to be out of my life completely.

I still am friends with a few that I’ve dated and loved. We still share our ups and downs too.

There is of coz one or two that are not even worth for me to include them in my future. Not to mention even being friends.

Clumsy or simply stupid me AGAIN..
Was trying to cut the tag on one of my shirt and zapped!! Cut the top of my thumb and the flesh was left flabbing.. GROSS!!!
Lucky didn’t stain my shirt and I quickly "stick" it back and pressed on it with a tissue.. (so that the flesh will grow back together again right)
Heng my mum is the genius and quickly got me some Aloe Vera to apply and bleeding stopped shortly..

During one of the training session, my partner is suppose to push kick my knee to prevent me from lifting my leg to kick her. But she push kicked a little later and her toe “poked” to my shin and tah dah..
Gross right!!
Not to mention the other 20c and 50c along my leg..
I was frantically applying hot towel on them so that it won't show during my Jakarta trip.. Else everyone might think that I'm being abused..

I was a walking semi grocery shop for my MT family last week. Making sure no one goes hungry..

Sat & Hair Treatment
Sat went for a complimentary “hair treatment” and WAH! Got a shock when they did the scan and photo taking of my scalp..
Due to oily scalp, my hair follicles are stuck! And apparently, suppose to have 3 strands of hair each lobang, now I’m like having only 1 strand or 3 strands but finer and finer hair..
Glurp!!

She did this machine treatment thing which suppose to help to cleanse from deeper layer, followed by deep cleansing treatment.
The scan after shows the “pores” unclogged and basically, only then whatever treatment you use after can be so call absorbed.

Shall be back again to seek 2nd treatment.

Spent the whole afternoon at granny’s place as I was not able to attend her birthday dinner.

Guess food always makes me happy and recently my craving has gone a little weird…

Chili Padi..

Hot daaaooooooo.. but I guess it started after my spicy dinners during my recent diving trip..
I started craving for Fish Soup with rice to go with Chili Padi
Next will be Yong Tau Fu with rice to go with Chili Padi

My love with spicy is to such extend that when I order a plate of mixed vege rice, my makan kaki ask, “ How come your meat only got 2 slices?”
But actually, that’s 2 huge scoop of different chili paste they have.. LOL
I prefer freshly cut chili tho..

Was not able to satisfy my chili padi craving during lunch yesterday so I got mama to help me with that during dinner.. and because of the pkt of chili padi she bought, I asked for home packed lunch!!

Well.. not really what I’ve expected but it was still a good gathering to get to know each other before we officially become colleagues!

So nice of them that they prepared 3 gifts for lucky draw.
I was lucky to pick number 1!! And I was also the lucky winner of the 1st prize! Keke..
Cheeky me was still asking whether does the 1st prize winner gets to take home the “yummy MD” and gosh..I was literally blushing when I was having the prize awarding photo taken together.. =P

Reading about dreams on friends' blogs and I've been having weird dreams too.

Dreams with people I've been hanging around with recently.
Again, I don't know what happened, but my dreams are always me on a "mission"
Think I've watched too many action movies..

This time, it's me on a mission (I can't recall what I have to accomplish tho) and my partner is Mr R.
Cut it short, I was injured and he was the hero to my rescue.

I am a heroine or assassin in closet? lol

It's been almost consecutively 3 nights that I woke up staring at my lalio clock and it shows 04:20, 04:22 and 04:22!!

Questioning my client as in having salary that low, even tho given transport allowance, they might not be able to own a vehicle..

Here's my fav Ramen again.. Apparently, Mr runner was telling me that one outlet is chicken broth and the other is Pork.. ah sooooh... then I realised the diff and both are just as good..

This time round, I was recommended to add more Spring Onion and oooo laa laaa.. yummy yummm
I have to take a close up of this Grilled black pork .. Melts in your mouth..
After taking a bite, take a deep breath with your nose and the taste will go round and round at the back of your throat and ummmm... speechless...

Since the last round I went to Da Paolo, I've soo soo missed it and finally today I got the chance to go!!
Thanks to Mr Sexy Sihouette, I have a nice lunch there.

I tried a little once at a Italian restaurant at Craig road.. and it was yucky..
when Mr W let me tried 一口at Da Paolo then, I regretted not ordering it!!

I realised that Da Paolo is the 1st to have squid ink pasta in Singapore.. it's worth every single bite and ooo laaa laaa...
Nope, I didn't bother about my 形象during lunch and we had a good laugh at my ah ma teeth..

It's good to catch up and having heart to heart talk is nice.

Came home after a long 12hrs coach and was greeted at home with a table full of food.. I mainly took pictures of my mum's cooking and not the other stuffs..

Here's my mum's signature 糯米饭
I can have like 2 bowls straight..
Next will be my mum's another signature dish: 卤鸭

ooo Ooo.. another signature dish too.. kekeke 五香 I loooove my mum's 五香.. I think it's the best.. she doesn't use prawn paste.. only fish paste and of coz minced meat.. I love it with fried beehoon..

Tried The Hand Burger for the 1st time and I think will be my last too.. keke.. it's nice.. healthy version too.. salad is weli nice too.. just that it's a little pricey.. 2 burgers, 2 small salad and 2 ice lemon tea and it's $27.80!! I can have like how many sets of Carls Junior le..

And my all time favourite.. Friends who knows me.. my breakfast is weli weli imporant to me.. wake up sure hungry..

I am known to waking friends up because I'm hungry and need food...

else I'll be clearing their fridge...

I think it's been like more than 4 years since my last game of MJ.. Always felt that I don't have such luck and I'm too lazy to "geng"..

Upon reaching SG after 12hrs of coach, I immediately satisfied my craving for PORK - Wanton Mee without the Wanton at Jalan Besar.. slurp..

Farewell BBQ at night and I was ready to hit the bed at 11pm when a phone call came..
Always dunch know how to say No...
I ended up at a mahjong table at 12midnight.. !!

No flower luck, no animal luck..
from 7 or 8 discarded tiles started waiting till people game I also no game..

Luckily I insisted only 1 round..

I think I'm better in being the kopi maker..

Perhentian Diving Trip

So far, 3 diving holidays and this is my MOST enjoyable one..

Can’t wait to share with YOU…

12 hrs of coach is no kidding.. but lucky me got 2 seats so can lie and sleep throughout..
One of us had difficulty sleeping and so I slept on behalf for him.. muahahaha

Reached Perhentian small island at 8am and it’s a gorgeous place.. literally blue and clear water..
As compared.. Redand has nicer sandy beach tho..
Many eatery places and dive centres open at 830am.. so we settled ourselves at our dive school and waited for them to wake up..

Don't everyone just lurve diving?!! Haha..

E is there for open water (virgin dive)
A is there for leisure dive (just got Open water in Jun)
R is there for Advance (My Advance Buddy)

No night dive here.. so I did the following for my Advance.

Peak Performance Buoyancy
Navigation
Naturalist
Deep Dive
Wreck Dive

Instructor Ricky Wee is really very good.. After just 10mins of PPB with him, my buoyancy for the rest of my dives was much much better.. given that my last dive was 2 years ago..

Navigation is sub sub water… keke.. I almost have to lang gah into a small pile of rocks..
Naturalist is also quite ok. But I gave up drawing what I see to enjoy my dive more.. keke
Deep Dive is also sub sub water.. wrote my name the other way round.. and also had 3 rounds of Tic Tac Toe with my buddy which was a draw game..
Wreck dive was more interesting.. with Air Pockets and seeing a WHOLE boat flipped..

This is Ricky, one of the instructor and the most experienced one.. He looked so sad because E broke the fin!!
imagine the strength of E's legs that the fin broke while she was struggling to surface coz she forgot to place her regulator in her mouth before descending.. keke.. such silly action and she remembered it forever!!

Crazy night we had and here I am.. with silly mask.. having to complete so called the "final" test.. drinking a can of beer from the snorkelling mask.. one breath!!

We also did some part time "modelling"....

Daily activities are almost as below.. except for 1st and last day whereby I did only 1 dive each..

Woke up at 7am, went to the Long Beach for run with my AB..
830am breakfast: standard 4 sets of toast with half boiled eggs.

1st dive:
9am, we’ll rig up our equipments, 930am briefing followed by setting off at 10am.
Back at 1130, set up for 2nd dive, no.. order lunch 1st then set up for 2nd dive.. (Too hungry!!)

2nd dive:
Set off at 1pm, back at 230pm, order Milo, biscuits, omelet, sandwich
Set up for 3rd dive

3rd dive:
Set off at 4pm and back at 530pm.. order milo again (for me), biscuits and energy bars

Lobo around, relaxing, sharing our experiences.. Doing my theory, snacking..
Heading back to rooms for shower and gathered for dinner at 8pm..

Food!!!

Can't resist but to ask them to order from the village their "local rice".. so colourful!!

We had to have another serving of their pancake after that night's dinner.. and again.. we were given a whole bottle of Nutella..

Our BBQ dinner for the 1st night.. I felt really like a dinasour.. hahaha

And here's the spicy dinner which left everyone "wet" during the meal.. I love it!! wahaha

Not to mention the beer sessions after meal.. and we even tried their local "Monkey Juice" alcohol. which tasted more like Rum..

Initially it was a not very looked forward trip for me.. not sure why…
But I need a get away from all the rubbish and I am really really glad that I went..
Enjoyed myself a lot with lots of silly memories..

Aiyoooo.. felt so blessed for my this coming diving trip..

I was given energy bars.. Was told that each dive you can be burning like 400 - 700 calories!! Woohoo!! No wonder after each dive, everyone is always super duper hungry..

I just have to pack my gears and go!!

Really hope that this trip can let me recuperate my sleep too.. been feeling sleepy all the time while working and not able to focus!!
Guess it's my liver that needs the break and to fully recover..

Talking about diving made me recalled the pickpocket who stole my wallet with my Open water dive card when I was in Bali.. He's still constipated now!!

Ever since introduced to this Ramen place at Central by Mr W who's a Ramen Da Ren, I think this is the BEST Ramen...

Craving finally satisfied again!!

My fav No1 Ramen in Singapore.. Just a sip of the soup is like heaven to me..
I forced my makan kaki (who dun normally eat yolk) to have the whole egg!!
I also ordered their char siew.. HEAVEN!!

After nuahing the whole afternoon at home, we decided to go for dinner when both bellies started to complain.. and we were soooo hungry that from ordering - serving - finish eating is only 25mins!! haha.a..

Can you imagine that I'm actually salivating while looking at this pic.. haha

Too full after and I suggested to do our "rounds" at Meidi-ya..

Decided to check out this makan place at Club street..

Alright.. bread is not to my liking coz they are TOO soft.. Yes.. I'm the werido who likes to eat over night bread coz they are harder..

Yummy Asparagus / Rocket Salad with parma ham.. yummy yum..

Was too eager to tuck into their yummy baby pork ribs (And apparently, the piggy is flown in all the way from France!!) French swines.. lol...They are very tasty.. grilled to perfection with a bit of crispy edges, tender meat and no smelly porky fats taste..

We decided to share their dessert too.. Yummy berries sorbet with slight grilled watermelon.. 1st time tasted such and it's delicious!!

And of coz.. as always, enjoyed a good nite of chatting and catching up with Missy Mojito..

When it comes to shabu shabu buffet.. woohoo.. we simply loved it!!

with 3 rounds of veges, I asked for 5 plates of chicken and 5 plates of beef ala carte..

Half way through, I need to satisfy my rice need..

ok. yes, that's my left over sweet corn and yes that's ice in my bowl, coz I didnt want the ice in my drink..

Was back at my favourite place (Fell in love with it since dear Cory brought me there)..

Had their grilled sausages with Missy Mojito once and told angels that she's got to try them.

So here we are..

A friend who visited the old Changi hospital before was thrilled with the movie Haunted Changi and jio-ed me to watch it on a Friday late night..
Gosh.. the scary meter was only 1 out of 10 for me.. b.o.r.e.d
Was initially worried that the video camera could be too shaky but overall was ok..
Basically showing a group of youngsters trying to do a research and documentary on the old Changi Hospital and the ending was crap to me..

Irene Ang is well known for her stand up comedy and 3rd year for Vlee Conference and this time it was at Zicra.
Got lobang for tix at good price + 1 free drink and reserved seats.. (not to mention the additional free drinks)
It was fabulous and got us LOL throughout..

Zicra was like a DEAD town after.. Left with only 2 tables of us waiting for Irene, we were just glad that the drinks were 1 for 1..
Irene explained after that if she were to hold it at places like Esplanade or such, she’ll need to submit scripts for approval.
Which of course will not be approved due to the “matter-of-fact” comments made on THE government, etc.
She’s really smart and talented.. and friends who worked around her adore her as she teaches/guides and treat them really like her true friends..
She’s also became much prettier!!

Night’s still too young and decided to catch Grown Ups.. farnee? Hai hao lah..
I slept for I think 5mins.. Mainly due to tiredness
Too perfect ending to be true..

Last but not least movie: STUPID Vampire Suck
Don’t even bother to ask why I was watching that movie but it was in a way of no choice..
I’m giving it -10 upon 10.. (B.O.R.E.D-est)
Although it was a movie at like 3pm, I slept for like 20mins..

My Niiiii & Scoliosis

Started with me researching online for my painful knee.
After reading through the symptoms, I think mine should be considered common and not serious.. maybe just over worked it a little… should be nothing to worry about.

Saw “Scoliosis” and decided to read about it.
And Holy Moly.. 15years after my surgery, now then I really know what the hell I’ve gone through.

Scoliosis is the most common deformity of the spine (I dun like the word “Deformity”)

Lateral Curvature – vertebral column bends from side-to-side. When bending down to touch my toes, you’ll notice an S-shaped curvature of my spine

What I had is called Spinal Fusion
A bone which is harvested from elsewhere in the body (in my case, part of my hip bone) is grafted to the vertebrae (backbone) so that when it heals, they will form one solid form mass and the vertebrae column becomes rigid. And this prevents worsening of the curve.

Dun understand right? Me neither...
Basically just put metal rods against the spine, screw them up together. Put another bone to get the spine and the bone to grow together, so that spine will be straightened and prevent them from curving more.

Kinda scary now when I read in details of the history and risks and pending problems foreseen.
Think staying active and building my back muscle is good for me.

Had wanted to post pictures of before and after X-rays but I think they are too gross... too much info is not needed here..

Drifted apart after a while and when he initiated a break-up, she gave him a lost face and just kept quiet. but comes back to him a few days later.

She did nothing wrong.. how to ask her to leave?

Being the rational me, I have to say this. I agree only partially.

When you are in your 30s,
旧爱 = love during your early 20s when you are free, passionate, not much responsibilities, got all the energy to do sweet little things, patoh in parks, strolls along the beach, sweet talk, cook midnight porridge, hanky panky in park, no food got love also can survive.

When you find new love in 30s, you are busy with work, responsibilities for family, car, savings, drained after work, no energy for sweet little things, go strolling might as well go for nice dinner, short holidays maybe, talk about practical things, won’t waste time, got to know more people, choices and comparisons are more..

That’s when you start to think that 旧爱 is better.. but actual fact, it’s not 100% true.

Purely my own opinion..
Back to square one, it’s still about meeting the right person at the right time.

3 weeks ago, 2 of our bicycles locked separately were stolen!! #$%#$%

I recalled one of my Malaysia friends who stays in JB told me that she had this rich friend who has those provision shop kind of shuttle gate at their landed house.
They can be robbed during daylight just after they park their car.

Remember I just recently bought my lalio clock?
Yet to feed them with batteries and they still operate with power plugged and wire dangling on my little round desk.
2 days after, I realized that someone off the power and there goes my clock.. I have to reset them by holding on to the “HR” & “Min” button for nong nong time.. Repeat that for my alarm too…
I asked my helper, mum and niece. Nope, no one touched the power plug..
Fine.. maybe my dad or bro..
3 days ago, same thing happened.. this time round, everyone was in my room discussing about some power trip incident (the power socket box is in my room) and my dad and bro said nope they didn’t touch the power too.

All of us looked at each other and…

My dad suggested to pass me his rechargeable batteries, my SIL suggested to pass me batteries even my niece too..

Alright, time is definitely not enough for me, and I'm not ambitious type to be busy over work!!

5 working days
putting aside 2 days for Muay Thai
1 to 2 days for dinner with friends
1 day to rest at home
maybe 1 day out of 2 weeks for yoga (It's been donkey years since I've gone!!)

2 days of Weekend
maybe half a Sat morning for Muay Thai
I've also became the exercise buddy for one who needs to slim down and another who managed to find someone to bring out the active side (cycling/diving/and considering wakeboarding now)

My fulfilling active outdoor weekend left me exhausted with muscle achesss and tanner. I ended it with a good and rewarding feet massage.. Yipee!! Found a few cheap and good ones just near my place..
About to make appointment for my next fix of pain and I was like opps.. Not Mon/Tue/Wed & Fri/Sat/Sun...

Guess I got to learn how to say no at times..

I'm glad I do not have Monday Blues and do not waste my time staying at home "getting ready" for Monday..

Well, I do not have irritating colleagues

Transport is convenient
I am near my friendssss and able to meet up for lunches anytime
The stress level is managable and fulfilling at the same time

Weather was fantastic and after more than half a year of not wakeboarding, I was glad that my muscles still remember to do their job..

Managed to do my back slide, bunnyhop, heel and toe side smoothly, butterslide and changing from my right-front to left-front and even wake skate today..!!

Satisfying session ended with beautiful sunset..

Scraped off 2cm of skin from my thumb while sliding my wardrobe door.. gross.. tried to “stick” them back.. hahaha..
Knocked myself against office table corner (alright, add on another orh ceh on my leg)
Knocked my elbow against the office table like twice on the same arm
Spilled boiling water on my foot while making milo in pantry

Been using starhub mobile line for donkey years.. in fact since the day it was in Singapore in year 2000 (I think it’s 2000)..
Only now then I realized that IDD call using 018 and dialing direct (008) makes a HUGE difference!!

A SOS call to Beijing on National Day for almost 19mins cost me $25!!
A work related call to Canada for almost 8mins using 018 cost me $1.40

And I kept reminding myself to claim for the Canada call.. What’s there to claim for $1.40…

For this.. Now I’ll remember to use 018 ALWAYS…

Ok, we were planning to have a farewell for someone leaving us. Suggestions for lunch/dinner/late afternoon tea break + alcohol/drinks after work started circulating in the emails..
Great!! I’m game for all..
Maybe it’s nice of her, but she’s just so scheduled and into her own time that she did up a chart of the possibilities with her schedule and preference and ask everyone to vote..
No one replied her email…

Reminds me of a holiday trip (can’t remember with who/what – must have been a not enjoyable trip) that someone actually did up a spreadsheet with absolute details as to who paid what and how much.. (How could she be tracking every single details? Gosh.. It was suppose to be a holiday, not maths training camp or biz trip)

My 1st thought was is it an action/kungfu movie with an AM gal learning kungfu and became a Heroine?

Mr O caught my attention holding that book and I’m glad I went to catch that movie.

Memorable Phuket with Deary Cory

Arrived Phuket at 1am, headed straight to hotel and as mentioned, we were running to the toilet whole night and morning.. Finally dragged ourselves out for lunch.

We don't look that sick right! (We had the same shot at Haikou/Sanya too haha)
empty stomach = hungry women..
Good weather in Phuket!!
Ordered a plain fried chicken with baby sweet corn and rice.. missing Tom Yum and Green Curry..

Food tasted blend..not sure whether it's because of our sick tongue or just bad chef.. we both only managed to finish half..

After which, we felt sick and decided to retreat back to hotel room.. getting some charcoal pills and slept the whole afternoon away..

Decided to head to Karon beach to look for Spy W..

Delicious dinner!! with BeerLaos and another dose of Charcoal pills...

I didn't felt well after and decided to retreat back to hotel again..

Slept soundly till the next morning..

Monday morning.. Refreshed and recovered fully!! Good appetite and ordered breakfast for 4 I think.. haha..

Ready to hit the beach and check out the shops...

So where do bad gals go?? Dear Cory can't help but to take a pic of this..

We each bought 2 sundresses and started fashion showing at the beach to see how they looked like..

On our way back after baking at the beach (mainly me since she's already baked) and soaking ourselves and jumping at every waves.. We can't resist the fruit stall..

After a GREAT fight, we pampered ourselves to FOOD at a small alley along Bangla Road.. sounds cheesy hor.. haha..but BEST and cheapest food!!

Tuesday, we missed breakfast AGAIN and decided to head out for lunch before searching for our 3hrs massage place.. Massage at Let's Relax was fantastic!! Thanks to Cory for booking that.. got all our after-Muay-Thai muscles loosen!!

During dinner, I had to take a photo of this AM with just a plate of fried rice..

Here's Cory with a perturbed face coz she wasn't expecting her red curry chicken to turn out that way.. and we had 4 dishes!! Hungry women again... wahahaha

How can we resisit pancake?!! Mine with just Nutella and Cory's with banana and Nutella.. yummy yum!!!

Apparently, each of us has one or two dominant love languages and tend to neglect the rest. Trouble erupts in a r/s if one party's dominant love languague is precisely the one the other neglects.

Knowing your partner's love language frees you to do the two essential things:

1st is to learn what she wants, so you can give it to her and she feels loved. If your partner's love language is touch, give her lots of cuddles and hugs - even if you're not the touchy feely kind of person. This way, you are showing love in your partner's native language, and she will feel loved

The second thing is learn to read him.

Understand your partner's neglected love language also helps you to set your expectations right. If you value words of love, but he's not the kind to say "I Love You", then you have to shift gear.

Growing Old me?? Weekend updates

Signs of ME and old age:

1) Can’t eat as much as before..
Gosh.. Missed the days when I can just go non-stop at buffets..
When people next to me already gave up and I’m still going on… but won’t wake up the next day feeling like I’m going to break the door of my room in order to get out!!

2) eye bags just won’t go away!!
Damn!! What’s with those bags? I don’t need them as my good friends (neither do I need the spare tyre too)..
Ok, sleep early, dun drink too water before sleep… If you are able to sleep before 11pm, pris tell me how..
(But dun tell me to go home after work and get ready to go to bed by 9pm in order to do so, coz time is not enough for me oledi)

3) Being cynical and cynical(er)
Is it because we start to know “more”? or “more” things are happening around us that got us wondering “Hey Adult life is not that fun after all!!”
And trust between human being doesn’t seem to exist anymore..
I think I’ve become more selfish le.. used to be able to give much more

But nonetheless, I still feel that I’m at my prime age of doing lots of stuffs.. Maybe coz I have no “baggage” or responsibilities.. I’m a fish monger..
Fortunate me, of coz not complaining and continuing to count my blessing and thank whoever is up there too..

Yummy dessert!! I was so tempted to go for second round..

Fri night was amazing!! The Bali gals reunited!! Woohoo..

Started the night with catching up and frozen margarita(sss)..
Next to our fav live band club with hilarious dance crowd..
- Desperado and horny looking cheena woman who can’t hold her liquor and fell backwards on the stage while trying to seduce the AM and having her legs around his waist at the lance floor.. GROSS!! Go get a room!!
- Mid age uncle with good bod and apparently good waist muscle that dance with his back bend at 45deg left to back to right whole night..
- Yuan-de-bu-de-nah ah neh who tried to introduce his tall-until-can-see-nostrils AM friend to us.

We ended the night at Sin City.. where I got to meet Junior (TW artist) lookalike, C got to meet American-Born-Taiwanese (mimi yan) and D got to meet Mr ah neh who apparently loved to watch Taiwan drama series and claims that she looks like the actress..
All I remembered was shouting “I wanna go HOME!!!” to get us all out of the ordeal..

Sat was a super duper nuah day with me refusing to walk, and definitely not stepping out of my house even tho I was tempted for afternoon tea and even supper!!

Sun was a walking day.. brunch at East Coast, walked like thousands miles till finally reached the sailing club… But it was a nice noon, relaxing and talked A LOT!!
Thought will be an afternoon with my new book, but ended up at Vivo and finally Mustafa..

I so needed a feet massage!! Missed Thai massage at Phuket..

Dislike going to Vivo on weekends, especially Sun.. guess due to spacious and air-con “family” with prams were EVERYWHERE..
I’m so cynical.. duh

Back from SSS land and checking off my To-Do-List prior to depart.. I've only accomplished like 50%.. wahahha...

Here's a quick summary while waiting for my dear to pass me photos.. As usual, I've totally forgot about my camera until I was at the airport... Great Job Joyce..

Day 1: dump bag, didn't hit the club as flight was delayed and we arrived at 1am. but we were rushing to the toilet non stop!! sianz..
Day 2: no scooter scouting coz we spend the whole day sleeping.. fever + tummyache.. sianzzz.. so of coz no lancing too
Day 3: Breakfast + Muay Thai training (shiok!!) and of coz lancing (BUT, was super turned off by the 80% of working girls crowd) that we had an early nite. But ha, short but enjoyable nite (wink wink)
Day 4: shopping + 3hrs of Thai massage (Oh my muscles enjoyed it sooo much). Flight was slightly delayed and reached home at 2am+...

Not so Patriotic me

Alright, it's not like I don't love my country, I'm just not passionate about it.

Singapore is safe and I have nothing against the so called Pay and Pay. I think they did a good job and I have no complains.

I can't stand Singaporeans who complains too much..

My conversation with Mr 37, he's always comparing the traffic (which includes drivers, road conditions and public transport) with other countries..

Next he'll be commenting about the people.. (which I told him in general, it includes both of us)

I've stopped sharing my own views and change his $%&# mindset.. Simply told him to migrate instead.

When I meet new friends while travelling, I'm always proud to tell them about Singapore.. Although Small + City + Boring are included.. but I'll always tell them that it's definitely worth a visit in Singapore.

Speaking of which.. a not so surprise visit from a friend far far far away this week... Haha.. Now I've got to practise my British accent liao..

2007, I was in Penang watching the parade on and off when passing by the living room.

2008 I was at Bali with the Bali gals and at 810pm, yes we did our pledge, took farnee photos with my "pointed" blue dress and head of to PARTYING straight after..

2006 and before? well, can't recall details.. gathering at friend's place, nuahing at home, cosy dinners, partying (dun think so)...

I do remember clearly one year, I was siting just outside the Kallang Stadium and the fireworks were like falling onto us.. especially the one like falling stars.. that's my fav..

I like my new place!! Didn't realise that we can actually view the fireworks from our corridor.. With better preperation, we should have proceed to higher floor with our cameras ready.. but instead, we were rushing out like mad people..

Long weekend

Long weekend and I did a "trithalon"!!

Swimming on Sat and long walk + cycling on Sun..

Accompanied a friend to buy the Lomo camera and after much walking (again), comparison and thinking and consideration.. Finally decided on Diana F+.. check her out.. ain't she cool??

Had a good dinner + drink session with friends too and ... thank you U.

Sat was the 1st time Alvin held an "internal" Muay Thai friendly competition at his gym and I was there to support friends and of course to learn from them too..

Cutey Miu Miu.. 11yrs old le and at the end of the competition, she even pee and poo!! Huat ah!! LOL... she's sooooo obedient and cute..

This is the last round with both Semi-Pros.. (No body and head guards).. Johnson on the right is from our gym and his combos were very pro and amazing.. He was on the winning ends but got a bad kick on his left rib and got to give up after 3rd round.

For ladies, sometimes what you wear matters a lot? (Maybe it’s always and not sometimes)
There are just one or two dresses that always have certain effects.

Remember I mentioned about THE dress? That’s one of the make me feel good dresses.. but not suitable for buffet days.
And I have this Pokka dot dress that got me compliment like “Yiu Xiu” HA! Me = Yiu Xiu? Faintzzz.. and having someone storing my number with my name as “Joyce – Ms Pokka Dot”. And meeting fatal attraction.. double faintzzz
I also have this dress that whenever I wear it, I always seems to bump into people that I don’t wish to.. I won’t call it the suay dress tho..

But the one dress that I think I’ll remember for a looong time will be angel’s killer dress that has several stories behind it.. haha..

Definitely not me? I’m definitely not the one to say “I like you” in the face 1st. It’s not about ego problem.

Twins or something? Maybe cousin also can... !! Having goosebumps le recalling the things he did and sent and cooked!! haha.. I'm simply so so happy for her. Well deserved happiness do fall upon you when the time is right.
Although it's just been a short while, but I'm already looking forward to be her bridesmaid!! :D

Heart Attack

what a heavy topic early in the morning.

One of my colleague's boyfriend had a heart attack couple of weeks back and went through "stem insert". Scheduled for another surgery this week. But last sat, (during the another-flooding day in Singapore), he felt another heart attack in the morning!! And I tell you, the rain was seriously so heavy and everywhere was like flooding that he had to wait till 11am before someone can send him to the hospital.

While sharing with us the above, she also just realised that her godpa (a pilot who goes for yearly checkup) was just admitted for major, serious blockage of arteries! And another colleague also told us that her golf buddy, who goes for yearly check up also was detected with serious blockage over the weekend..

Is age the factor?

Serious No.. NO NO NO!!

It's our diet and lifestyle, accumulated throughout the years and this is what is known as 慢性疾病 (Chronic Disease) - Diabetics, high blood pressure, blockage of arteries, high cholestrol, blah blah

Maybe it's age catching up but I had a sudden strong fear..

Fear of losing my loved ones..

Believe me or not, but tears are whelming up as I'm typing now..

gosh.. why am I so emo..

I know I've always been the loh soh friend telling you to drink more PLAIN water, eat more fruits/veges, take your supplements, etc etc.

To me, these are just some things that we CAN take CONTROL..

Nope, I'm not saying that I'm a saint and I am all perfect with my diet.. U who knows me, knows me..

All I'm saying is striking a balance..

For the sake of people you care and love, pris... pridi pridi pris be more conscious about your diet..

So here's a list of fooooood that I’m gona satisfy myself with:

1) Crabs
Especially salted Egg and white/black pepper
Duno why, but suddenly got this CRAVING for crabs..
And I’m sooo glad that I’m no longer allergic to them (so long as they are FRESH)

Either back to House of Seafood or see if any other recommendations

2) Italian Food
Of coz, Pasta and Pizza falls under this category
Imagining the Al Dente of the pasta and the crispyness of the pizza (which I already had a yummy one last week)

For Pasta, Da Pablo is my top choice with Tiramisu to end the meal.
And there’s this Italian makan place that I’ve missed it like twice? Coz I’ll always be visiting it on the day it’s closed .. haha.. duh
Pizza Pizza – besides Spizza, where else got nice pizza??
I know! No 5!! :D

3) Brunch buffet
Those with lots and lots of bread + Cheeeese + spreads + pancakes + omelets + sausages + ham..

Talking about Brunch, there’s this one place that is a MUST to go.. somewhere at Bukit Timah. Need book way way in advance..

4) Japanese Ramen
So far, seriously, only Marutama Ramen at Central can satisfy my craving on this.

Time and tummy not enough..

Why goal le, so happy, realized it’s offside and the goal is not considered.

Watching the Finals @ 230am with one eye open, boring for me as I only like it when they score during the match.
somehow, I thought I was watching them running in Fast Forward mode. They were soooo fast!
And nope, I didn’t last till the end. Keke

Expected Spain to win, but somehow disappointed that they won due to extra time. Felt it’s more glam to score during the match itself.

I'm a fan of food blogs.. not just in Singapore but also all the way to Australia with this famous Food Pornographer.. Drooling with the food she ate daily and always wondering why she is not fat?!
Comparing her diet and mine, gosh, maybe I should stop thinking about what I eat..

But well, looking at this box of Cannoli, I so want to sink my teeth into one of them..
